| | | | Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 259 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 259 | I had a nice firewall and dash on a 3 window cab but a bad roof. I also had a 5-window with a torched up firewall and cut up dash but a good roof so I swapped the two. I followed Tom Brownell's instructions in his book "How to Restore Your Chevrolet Truck" and cut the cabs at the lead seam on the A-pillars "windshield post", and from rocket to rocker just in front of the seat riser. I then swapped the two and welded the good one back together.
