I never noticed this before, even in the 5+ years I have had this truck, but the doors appear to be sprung. I noticed it when I was working under the rear of the truck. When I sat up from under it on the passenger side, I noticed that the door wasn't flush with the cab. I could see that it was sticking out by about 1/2" from the cab. I checked the other side, and it has basically the same problem. Is it possible that the latches are adjusted wrong so that the door doesn't sit flush, or could it be that the stops that keep the door from opening too far are broken (because they are) and caused the door to open too far and bend the hinges? I noticed on the passenger side door (same day as the door thing) that it has a small vertical dent in it just before it meets the front of the cab. It looks like it hit up against that piece of the cab that bolts on. I don't know what you call it. Anyway, is there any way to fix this problem, or do I need new doors?
