The prior owner must have used a screwdriver and sizable hammer to back off the pair of nuts holding the hubs on. The threads on the drivers side are kind of boogered up. Anyone know the diameter and TPI on the axle so I could snoop around for a die to run on and off to clean up the threads? Also, is there a spanner wrench available to back off/install those nuts? And lastly, can new hub nuts be found or is this only a junk yard item? Many thanks - Joe 1947 - 3800 dually known as "Deadwrench"Link to a few photosIn this world there are givers and takers. The takers eat well, the givers sleep well. | | |
