Think it was CASO out west that setup a loop where he could circulate a flush through the system overnight. Pretty good idea, and would be pretty simple to do if you had a big pan or bucket and any small pump, just let the drain spill into the bucket, put the pump in the bucket and run a hose up to the thermostat housing (with thermo out). Kind of like a parts washer setup.
