My 47 3/4 ton had the gas tank mounted to the frame on the passenger side. I bought a tank that I had intended to mount on my 54 1/2 ton but it was a little too large. you'll have to find one that isn't very tall or it will hang down too far. the 1/2 ton doesn't have a lot of clearance.
