| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 39 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 39 | For 11 years I thought I had a '54 5 window but yesterday I hauled it from Colorado to Utah and gave it a once over. I discovered that based on the serial number it is a '55.1 5 window. I used the tool on here to see what factory it came out of and stuff like that thanks to Achipmunk, but I am wondering what other resources are out there to give me insight on this truck i.e. how many were produced, what options were available, what options mine had upon production, etc.
My plan was to drop a 350/th350/Ford 9" in the truck but if it is an extremely rare vehicle, I want to do it justice and bring it back original. I am working on engine/trans/rear end casting numbers to see if they are matching as well as I am not sure.
Any help/resources would be much appreciated.
Danny
