This is an interesting thread. I suppose anytime this oil line is removed from either the back of the oil pressure guage or engine the fitting has to be replaced? If so, I have to change them out, both ends. I'm getting ready to swap my '59 Apache's 235 for a 283 and don't plan on using a pressure switch, but keep reading direct pressure.
