I Sand blasted and painted my frame and supension parts over a weekend and just used rust paint over it, and that was 4 years ago and it still looks great. I just used the nozzel from the sandblaster to make sure there was no sand left before painting. But what a mess of sand 1200lbs of sand in the back yard, and it will stick to everything you can think of, and will get into places you never thought of, keep all mechanical parts away such as motors tranni's rear ends the sand will find its way in. I did my motor & tranni outside and thought there where sealed.. NOT! found sand inside after taking them apart. You also must ware a full hood and a resperator!!!
