| | | | Joined: May 2012 Posts: 574 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2012 Posts: 574 | I recently bought a 49 coronet with a gyromatic transmission, and the carb is a stromberg bxves-3 with a anti-stall solenoid on it. the shop manual calls it a dashpot solenoid, but whatever you call it mine seems to be bad. any ideas as to where to get one of these? the tranny won't shift right if this solenoid isn't on there, so replacing the carb isn't an option.
