My 48 didnt come with a key for the ignition or the door. The ingintion switch just turns without a key and I never lock the doors. My wife bought me a nice tool box for the back that locks, so when I feel the need to sucure the truck from being stolen, I just unscrew the floor starter button and grab my revolver and lock them in the toolbox
It can still be easily stolen, but not without getting under the hood. I dought if most people could figure out the floor button anyway.
