That's an engine number, not unusual for a vehicle from that time to be titled by the engine number. I'm finding conflicting information just as to what the number decodes to. One guide I have show that number as a 1/2 ton engine, but GM Heritage shows it at a 3/4 and 1 ton engine. Do you have a serial number for the cab?
