There was no flat-head Chevrolet engine in 1952. A 1951 3100 truck would have had the venerable overhead value 216 stovebolt engine.
There was no "top oiler" kit as an option or accessory from GM.
The dealer might have sold the Ampco Top Oiler Kit as a snake-oil solution to a non-existent problem in a new vehicle.
