I am rebuilding a 52 GMC 102-22. Bought a 52 GMC 2 ton truck at a farm auction last week for parts. Turns out this 2 ton is in much better shape than the 1/2 ton I am rebuilding - no rust through that I have found, one owner, title, key in the ignition, even has a new looking spare tire. The only thing missing is the engine coil. So, my original plan was to swap cabs and other parts that I need and sell off the rest of the parts. My questions are: Is there much demand for 353-24 parts? Would I be better off selling the 2 ton as a complete truck? What would some of you out there do in my shoes? Thank you for your input.
