Thanks Dusty, looks like Ill go with the 40 grill, In looking at all the parts I think with a little metal work I can get the 40 grill and 39 GMC top moulding to work. May not be "correct" but nothing on my truck is. LOL. The deaper top bar of my 39 should work OK with the 40 chev grill.
Ive been trying to locate a good GMC grill or a 40 chev top moulding but they are tough items to find. And the GMC grill might not mount correctly in the chev nose peice. If you do find them they are a fortune.
