Hy AWick, it reads as if you assembled the rear hub correctly, did you set the preload on the bearings. Did you lock the inner nut in place once the preload was set with one tang of the "caged/barb look locking piece", did you tighten the outer lock nut down tightly and then lock its adjustment with a tang from the"caged/barb look locking piece"?
