For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 30 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 30 | I.m trying to remove the cab from my 42 1.5 ton. I've removed the two front mounting bolts but, I can't figure out how to remove the rear mount. It appears there is only a single mounting point in the rear. There is one bolt comimg up through the cab floor support and eight bolts going down through the support to the underside of the cab. I've removed the nut from the center bolt but the cab won't budge. I suspect the bolt may be frozen to the wood insert in the floor support brace. Any advice? Thanks in advance for the help. | | |
