Installed a new set of contact points. The engine pretty much fired right up.
Some brief blue smoke... probably because I squirted some Marvel Mystery Oil in each cylinder. Oil pressure was very good. Engine settled down to a nice idle.

BTW.... in the forty ++ years I messed with old cars, I have never seen a broken spring on a set of contact points. Contacts fryed but never a broken spring.
