Hi All, My Name is Phil and I am new to stovebolts, I am sure happy you guys are here, as I can already tell I will be leaning on your combined knowledge. I just picked up a 1951 Chevy 2 Ton. It has 15 foot long rails behind the cab and the 2 speed rear end. I think I am the third or forth owner. It came from a farm in Brush Prairie Washington. From what I can tell as I have started working on it, it would appear to have sat for some years before it was sold to a Dealer up there. The Kid I bought it from had bought it from the dealer. The truck runs and drives but does need a lot of TLC, body has some rust on the door bottoms but not to serious. It does not have a bed on it, I was told the dealer had removed it. My intention is to put a Flat Bed back on it. I look forward to any suggestions and pointers you all may have.
