| | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 988 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 988 | I believe that the O ring is for some aftermarket Thermostat covers that have a Grove machined into them. They most likely include the O ring to "make sure" to cover all the possibilities.
