Most GM 3/4 and 1 ton dual wheel chassis come with 17" tires. They fit the old 3 piece wheels and they can be bought for practically nothing because there is no market for them. I just traded my 2012 2500HD for a 2015 3500HD chassis with dual wheels. Both have 17" tires. I recommend 16" radial tubes to keep them from folding. My fleet ran tube required tires until about the mid 70's. We always put 9.00 tubes in 10.00 tires to keep tubes from folding. Back in the days when we still fixed flats at our gas stations, probably half the flats were caused by a folded tube.
