I maybe getting a little over my head with this one, but I just relocated to PA and prefer to get the non historic tags so I can use my 50' 1ton more. To my knowledge it'll have to go through a "safety" inspection at a local shop. My only issue is will they question the diesel that's in there even though that year emissions were not a requirement? I have seat belts and all of the daily drivable features with proper lighting, horn, etc.
To my understanding PA classifies the vehicles based on weight.
Has anyone had any success's or failures with regular tags?
