If ignition is on, which it would be at stall, then there would be power to choke? Now that I think about it, I guess it's not a big deal. If it stalls, you try and start again or shut it off anyway.
In my set-up with the oil-pressure switch, suggested by Jerry, if my truck stalls, there is no power to the chokes.
