Greetings Bolters.
Sorry for stupid questions. I started my project with a rusted chassis and have built up from there but I have a running engine and a cab and starting to make real progress.
I'm wondering where the oil pressure line enters the 216 engine. It is a 1948 engine on a 1950 chassis. On the drivers side, forward, there is a fitting beneath an oil pump plate with three screws behind the exhaust pipe. There is a second fitting farther back beneath an external copper pipe that exits and re-enters the engine. This area is behind the accelerator rod, etc. Both of these look like they would accept the fitting on the oil pressure copper tubing.
The truck is 1948 (216 engine) 1950 (chassis) 1/2 ton 3100. I do not have an oil filter.
Thanks in advance!
