Hy Maddoggee, you haven't said what transmission you're going to use, if you still have the engine rear crossmember in place you could bolt a truck bellhousing to the rear of the engine and mount the rear of the engine to the crossmember. That would locate the engine in its factory location fore and aft, hope that helps.
