OK, you folks that have more experience than me, here is what I have: a cab with rusty floorboards and bondoed corners, I want to have the cab soda blasted, rusted/bondoed sheet metal cut out and new panels welded in, and cab primed and painted. My question is, in what order should all this be accomplished? Should I cut and weld first then soda blasted, or the opposite? If the opposite, I will need to transport from the blaster to the welder, should I be concerned over the bare metal being exposed to the elements and forming rust? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
