I have parted out many Chevy stovebolt 216s in the past and the rocker assembly's were all the same..I recently brought home a 46 Chevy 1.5 ton. I noticed the valve cover said GMC so I assumed it was a replacement cover or maybe the whole motor had been replaced. I went to pull the rocker assembly and notice its quite a bit different..instead of cast iron rockers it has formed metal ones and the oiler in the center looked a little different as well??? Did GMC use different parts in there stovebolts?? any ideas?? Thanks Todd | | |
