I'm changing the starter on my 2 ton. I see this wire just hanging in that general area. When it gets close to the motor it arcs electricity. For all I can tell it comes over the engine to the driver side of the block and connects to a part in the block . I have a Goodwrench 350 . What the heck is this part, and where is this wire supposed to go? I need to get a good manual, but I'm hoping someone here can help me figure this out.
