| | | | Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 161 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 161 | In tuning up the 59 235 in my 51 3100 I discovered that the ethanol in the new gas creates a substance in my carb that causes it to clog.I decided to run alcohol free gas and it works.No more carb crud.The problem is this gas is expensive and I have to travel too far to get it so I'm going to try another carb.I noticed that lots of people here use the new gas in their old rigs with no problems.
So what carb can I use without modifying fuel lines/linkage etc?I want a manual choke.Will my current air cleaner work?---Jack | | |
