In the Craigslist and Ebay forum a person listed an SM420 for sale and it has a side mounted brake lever.

I can't recall ever seeing a direct mounted brake lever on the side of an SM420 before. Unless this lever attaches to one of those rear mounted transmission brake drum assemblies used on the larger trucks.

Any ideas?
