I don't know if there is lead or not, but you can get a cheap testing kit if you want to find out. I work in a paint shop, and we don't worry too much about lead. It generally isn't too dangerous to adults, but we wear respirators just in case. There is lead in the seams, filled in the factory, if you are worried about that.
