Mrs. Wally and I dropped the 261 into the '48 this afternoon!! Stevejumpr offered to help but I thought the wife and I should bond with the '48. It was a little dicey because the truck is outside on a sloping driveway. The leveling lifting attachment I borrowed from a friend really, really helped. He also has a tranny jack which will come in handy for the 4-speed.

If I feel this good after just dropping the engine in, I can't imagine what it will be like when it starts!!!
