Well, I suffered another setback, sorta. I could never get the valves adjusted quite right so I took it into a local shop & found out that the studs on the heads weren't flush. one of the lifters just couldn't be adjusted properly. I could have had them reworked but I opted to just start over with a
crate engine from Jegs. Comes with a three year 100K mile warranty so if anything else happens to the motor I'm covered! I also think I have this fuel injection thing figured out so I'm giving TPI another try. We'll see how this goes!
