No, it is not recommended to use Zero Rust underneath car finish. Use the Zero Rust for the frame, the insides of the fenders, hood and all suspension pieces. I am even using it for the floor and seat frame in the cab.
What you want to do is as soon as you get some panels to bare metal, within a day or so they need to be coated with epoxy primer.
