Yup
If you're referring to a 1/2 ton, you can use the center section from a '55-'62. I just did this swap this summer with a '61 3.90 rear. You will have to weld up the apring perches where they pivot at the axle. I also had to grind a little of the axle housing opening so the ring gear would clear for installation.
