Excellent compressor. 18 cfm is wonderful. Will keep up well, even with a 2nd tank. 3/8 hose is fine unless you do farm implements or heavy equipment. Yes indeed, a good water trap and regulator are mandatory. My converted monster sits on a 2x4 frame work, but in the past I just set the compressor on rubber pads to defray vibration in the floor. A 5.5 HP won't dance around unless it's on uneven ground. The typical home garage floor will transmit vibes. Enjoy it, you'll likely have it forever.
