Once you get it all nice and clean, if it's still discolored or faded, you might try finding a Dr. Vinyl franchisee.

Call a few local car dealers and ask for the used car make-ready manager. He'll have it or someone like it. Vinyl can be "re-dyed" (read painted) with a special coating that will last a long time. Don't use any over the counter parts store junk. The professional grade is all I've ever seen that works.

Over the last 6-7 years, I've had a number of cars shot with this stuff. I had a 1985 BMW 325 convertible shot two years ago. I sold it to a neighbor. It still looks brand new and he's never complained that it was flaking or peeling. He's put 50K miles on it and leaves the top down all the time. It got flooded last fall. If that didn't trash it nothing will.
