Whitelightning...reread your last post...yes your idea of like washers made from steel plating is very good! As i look under the cab...where the bolts to the bench seat comes through...there are already factory 2x2" reinforce plates welded with the floor. So perhaps if i found 3inch washers and put them on the top side.
