I've used Plasti-kote car and truckcolor paint with good sucess.Most auto parts stores carry it.
Huge selection and also comes in a metallic.Ranges from $3 to $5 a can.Some cans say to wait 4-6 weeks to cure then buff and polish.
I did an entire front fender on a '77 pickup,once it was buffed out you couldn't tell it was painted with a rattle can and was a perfect match with the factory color.
