Aircraft grade paint works great on old trucks. I painted my '49 flatbed with
" Courtaulds Aerospace " paint 7 years ago & it shines like the day I painted it & I have never waxed the thing yet. I used "American Airlines Blue". That paint had a special primer/ sealer that had to be applied under the top coat for proper adhesion. This paint was produced in France & I understand it is now illegeal in the U.S.
