I read in a magazine, the pro's adjust the doors before disassembly and drill small holes in the door and hinge about the size of a finishing nail. Then after painting or what have you. The alignment is done with nails or what have you (paper clips) to put the door , trunk lid, hood right where it should be. Works well, I did it with my wifes foof mistake.O
