Skip, this is a great topic! Last car I painted I had lights EVERYWHERE! After dorking up a bug paint job because of not enough lighting I bought a half dozen 4 foot flourescents and laid them on the floor around the car. One in the front, one in the back and two on each side. I put the plastic protector tubes over the light tubes and threw the covers away when I was done. Worked really well and along with the lights on the ceiling made for good visability. I still missed a couple of spots and had one run in the clear coat, but that wasn't because I couldn't see - I hurried too fast trying to get done before my wife came home.
