I only paid like $8.00 apiece for the ones in my new car, "LASER IRIDIUM", the old set ran 100,000 miles and showed little deterioration. Unless you aren't getting spark to the cylinder at all. A spark plug won't give you any more power. You don't need a 50,000 megaton ignition under most situations. All you need is "ignition" hence the term "IGNITION" System.
