For old time sake, my Suburban's ignition switch is also wired "backwards".

(This was before I moved to Britain for 3.5 years.)

It was wired that way when I bought it in 1971 and I have kept it with that old mis-wiring.

The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
