I, too, am getting ready to paint my engine. Currently the engine is painted blue. I plan to go back to the original grey. The blue paint is in good shape and adheres well, but the engine is pretty dirty and greasy.
Is cleaning up the engine with a good degreaser good enough or should the old paint be removed? Does it need to be media blasted?
