| | | | Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 11 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 11 | I have a 63 C10 230 stovebolt. Voltage to coil 13 while running coil resistance 1.5 ohms Voltage from coil 12 to Points. Is this to much voltage to the coil?
Wiring diagram shows a white /orange wire from ign to R terminal on the solenoid changing to green and continuing to the coil. (In actuality the wire on my truck is not W/O)
My questions is is the w/o wire supposed to be a resistance wire? Do I need a lower voltage to the coil? I have no problem adding a ballast resistor, if necessary. | | |
