The 1954 truck 235 block uses the same style/location water pump as was used in 1941 car/truck 216 engines. The pulley on the 1954 water would have a groove for a narrower fan belt than was used in 1941.

No water pump relocation plate is needed.

The 1941 clutch housing would need to be used, and you might as well use the 1941 clutch assembly and flywheel (but, the 1954 clutch assembly and flywheel could be used). The 1954 clutch housing will not bolt up correctly on a 1941 frame

My 1954 blocks have a threaded hole for the 1954 accelerator linkage bell-crank and a threaded hole in the location used for an earlier bell crank (I do not know if that second location is the same as used in 1941).
