I have a friend who works at a steel fabrication place, and he can get me metal for cheap. I'm going to replace my floorboards. What metal should I use. 16ga? It looks like the cab may throw some curve balls at me, so should i attempt this? I'm a good welder, and feel i can do it. I want to do it, so i can say that i did. Plus any pointers you guys can think of before i start this would be great. Thanks
