I just had a completely new exhaust system installed a few weeks ago. The shop that installed it for me said I had the wrong gasket connecting my 3 foot long temporary exhaust pipe to the manifold. I had the donut gasket that is rounded like a donut on each end and a flat area and two small ridges. I think he might have installed a square type, I haven't checked yet but I have a significant leak at this manifold gasket and I was wondering what is the correct gasket for a stock 55 235 manifold? Is it mostly rounded like the one I installed?
