If you want a show truck then sandblast and fill, a driver then don't worry. Or pop's way, wire wheel, scrape, wipe, use sander, and keep repeating. Learn to use filler, if you are a do it yourselfer, you will get mad, throw things, give up and walk away only to remember I CAN DO THIS it takes a lot of time. Some people quit and thats OK but for me the whole experience has been a joy but the biggest reward is I'm learning something everytime I walk into the shop. Enough said your decesion but enjoy and have a plan.
