Forgive my photography but one truck is masked for painting and the other is resting for the winter.

http://home.nycap.rr.com/lederman/images/doorweatherstrip.jpg For a good wind/water seal (and a decrease in rattles and wind noise), I would suggest using all seals. I forgot to mention the lower door windlace rubber (held to the floor of the cab with a screwed-on retainer) and that the door seal (weatherstrip) is glued on except at the bottom where there is a screwed-on seal retainer.
If you do not have a catalog of parts, you might want to get one from Chevy Duty (nice pictures).
